What is The Langdon, Inc.?

The Langdon Inc. was created to help individuals give more wisely to the charitable organizations of their choice.  We are a non profit, retail shop that provides a place for gently used, and no longer needed household and clothing items to be donated toward specific charities of the donors choice.

HOW DOES THE LANGDON OPERATE?
We are 100% operated by local volunteers (not a single individual or officer of the corporation is paid to work at or for The Langdon). The shop operates much like most vintage or consignment shops that accept gently used items.  We are open the first 7 days of each month from 10:00am to 5:00pm. 

WHAT MAKES THE LANGDON SO DIFFERENT?
We are strictly a consignment for CHARITY shop.  When we are given an item to sell, the donor of that item gets to choose the organization that benefits from the sale of their item.  The Split is 50/50.  50% to the organization (like their Church, School, a cause they are passionate about, or any other local charity) and the remaining 50% goes to run the operating expenses of The Langdon.

HOW HAS THE LANGDON HELPED THE COMMUNITY SO FAR?
In our first four years of operation, The Langdon, Inc. has accepted donations from close to 600 individuals on behalf of over 150 charities.  We have converted over $400,000 in unwanted household merchandise into valuable charitable dollars donated to worthy causes and community services. 

WHAT DO WE HOPE FOR?
That EVERY person will consider donating whatever valuable material goods they no longer need or use to The Langdon, Inc.  We will sell those items to benefit those who are far less fortunate…thus, “furnishing a better world”.

WHAT DOES THE LANGDON ACCEPT?
It’s best to call us first, but we generally accept items that are in excellent condition and are considered relatively "upscale".  We specialize in current, cool, and in demand household items worth more than $50 when first purchased.

RETURN POLICY

Due to the nature of our business, all sales are final and there are no returns or exchanges allowed at The Langdon, Inc.  Please love what you buy and choose wisely.
